15 when I discovered The Who, Led Zep, The Stones, The Doors etc.

When I was 15 the above bands were about 20 years young and never got to see some of them live. When I did get to see some of them it was okay. I'm grateful that PJ is stil around and STILL putting out great albums and performing incredble live shows 20 years later. I just feel so fortunate. Much thanks to the band, 10C staff, and fans. :D:D:D

Still hoping to see them at MSG.

2 years ago, age 15. Jeremy fueled the interest, Given to Fly fueled the obsession :)

Don't know how I would have survived the past 2 years without em- their music means so very much to me. I could talk forever about that, but I think that sentence pretty much sums it up.

6 more weeks til MSG! :D

I've been a long time fan ('91), member ('93) and have to say that the band's music and tours have been the only thing that I could depend on. They are my rock.

I was 39 and I liked them prior to that and I didn't even know it.
It took a good friend (dissidentman, member of 10c) to clue me in.

    So glad he did!!

    Thanks man!!

    24 years old
I had ten but never really fell in love (still not my favorite record)
then vs. came out and I could not put it down
then I saw them finally in 1996
    havent been the same since
and in a lot of ways, pearl jam filled the musical void left when garcia died

best rock band since led zeppelin I always say

i was 20 or 21, can't remember if it was before or after my b-day in 1991, but anyway, i was into hair bands to, and some thrash, bit of everything i guess, obviously still have a wide taste in music, but ever since pj came into my life, they have been irreplacable on top spot.

    And long may it continue....

I was 9 when I bought Ten in 1991. Favourite band since then and likely always will be.

I sort of went the opposite way, in that, I really got into Pearl Jam, when I was like 13-14 in 7th grade way back in 1998, and then during high school and the begining of college was when I got really into all the Classic Rock acts. I mean, I had been listening to the Stones since birth, but during this time I dug deep and listened to every album, and spent like a year listening to nothing but Zep, and then the Beatles, and so on. But, the good news for me, is I have seen the Stones play at least 3 times, saw the Who once, and saw Robert Plant once, so at least I got to see some of those bands.

Did you dive into the blues after/during classic rock?
