    I'll be there Thurs. Fri. & Saturday. Has anyone received their tickets from TM yet. I called them last week. The only response I received was "I'll call the printer about your ticket."

    What are the chances we'll end up too far from the Acura stage?

    I propose at about 4pm, we all organize a daisy-chain of people and gently make our way towards the stage and stick a flag in the grass.


    I've never seen them at a festival. Will the majority be there for general live music or actual fans of PJ?

    If we have enough of us, we can all help carry a port-a-potty right to our section with no one knowing.

    as far as the after party, my crew is still debating that..The Tropical Isle is on the top of list and there's Ani Difranco playing at Tipitina's that night, then there's the "go with the flow of the night, and wake up in a strange hotel room the next morning" plan.

    It's on Bourban St at the opposite end from Canal St. If you go too far you will notice the difference in bar patrons...

    Me and the wife are Amtrakking it down on Friday...We are stuck out near the airport but have been saving cab money for each night. Where is everyone getting F@#$%ed up Friday and Saturday nights ???

    I'll be there, making my way over from Houston with my girl friend for her first PJ show...

    Lol... she asked me the other day "Do you think they'll play Alive? I think I like that song" ... It might take a bit of work to get her hooked...

    I'm leaving to drive over Friday, coming back on Sunday... Anyone else from Houston driving Friday and want to do a caravan?? :D

    We should definitely all organize a meet up place at the festival... be cool to meet a few people from the board... I'll keep checking this thread...
    Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

    Sounds like fun Noel. I was there Thurs nite last year, & bourban was DEAD. I was surpried. May be better on the wkend though. Did you check out the band listing for after fest? I saw a few potentials.

    I'll be there, and I'll be bringing my wife - a fan of the band for 20 years - to her first-ever show.

    And stot... you must mean the Lavender Line. My wife used to be friends with Chris Rice (Anne Rice's son) in high school and spent a few nights drinking with him in bars on the other side of the Lavender Line lol

    Tropical Isle is on the corner of Bourbon and Orleans - near Lafitte's and behind the cathedral. Hand Grenades are the shit too - I'll take them over Hurricanes any day of the week.

    For anyone coming in for the first time though - I highly recommend beignets from Cafe du Monde... hard to beat getting dessert down by the river in the wee small hours
    And I listen for the voice inside my head... nothing. I'll do this one myself.
