I got early birds but don't know anything about most of the bands. please name some good rock bands that ate playing for me to check out. thanks.

    this little band called soundgarden is pretty good, so i have heard. it's supposedly their first reunion gig or something stupid like that.

    2 easy choices (IMO)

    Phoenix and Foxy Shazam

    Foxy Shazam is a band out of Cincinnati. You wanna try a mix of soul, punk, rock, 80's hair, Queen 'ish, mix of everything...

    that is Foxy Shazam... plus their live shows are VERY VERY entertaining. Definitely catch at least part, you wont be disappointed!

    Soundgarden , Gogol Bordello , and Social Distortion = count me in. Already purchased my three day pass. Also planning to check out The Strokes, Devo, Arcade Fire, and others too numerous to name.

    Cypress Hill!!

    I bought my tickets 5 minutes after the Soundgarden e-mail confirmation before I even looked at the line up. Once I did I was excited to see many of the bands. Including Lady Gaga, which I'm only slightly embarrassed to admit. Cypress Hill, outside of Soundgarden, was exciting to see.
