Hot Spring Break

So, the weather in the west was all looking pretty shitty last week, so that wife and I decided to not fight it and just head into one ofthe coldest parts of the ol' usa. We'd rather deal with snow and ice than rain and mud. We headed north into central idaho on a whirlwind hot spring tour and because only we are insane, we had every natural kickass soaking pool all to ourselves. Try to imagine over a 100 degree temp change in the distance and time it takes to stand up and sit down. Fun stuff. I also wrestled a giant male wolf. Ok, ok, I got within 25 feet of a giant male wolf but it didn't want to wrestle.

Now I have to write up a piece on the whole thing and try to sell it to someone. Back to work. Boo!

Sounds lovely, we're going through a wet muddy phase here, cold and hot springs sound great.

    What a let down

I swear, if people actually knew about and experienced the hot springs in Idaho, there would be a massive population increase around here. I mean the shit is just awesome! Wait, what am I doing? I take it all back. Hot springs are lame. Idaho is lame. There is no reason to visit my neck ofthe woods. Nothing to see here... move along, people.

If I wasn't 100's of miles away next time you visit the springs you'd probably find me and hubby (and possibly son) sitting in there with a packet of sandwiches and a flask of coffee

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Oh, I have nature stories alright... If I ever get to know you all that well, I will tell you a tale of a lonely night with just me, a yeti, Norm, and a flask of whiskey. Good times.
