My stars,..

I forget that when you look up
that you see the same stars that I do
a different place
a different life
but that’s okay

when I feel lonely I see you
in these stars
you are my constellation
your eyes shine bright in my springtime sky

so if I feel the need
and it becomes to much to bear
I look up to the sky and know
that wherever you are, you see the same stars

so tonight, at that special time
known only to us
please look up
the stars will hear my concert
even if you never will

if only I could look into those eyes once again
I would sing you a song only
you could hear
an angel sent from above, but only for such a short time

I will sing to you
you may not hear
the stars are my only audience
but I believe they will convey my song sincere

we see the same stars every night
we breath, but yet we still,….
you are alive, and I so embrace the death
death will make you see
that no other star has shown so bright for me

I’ll take this pain
it's my cross to bear
but please at least hear my song
because I know someday my song you will not hear

I look up to the sky, hoping that you share the same stars that
I hold so dear
I look to the sky
yet you are still so far from me.
