Jason Bay is officially a Met

Finally, a NY Met chose a Pearl Jam song to play when he comes to bat - The Fixer all 4 times (hopefully there will be some variety) but it was nice to hear PJ at Citifield today at opening day. Lets Go Mets! A winning record at least for one day :)

    Yea, Alive was his song here in Boston. He's a good ball player and a good person. I wish he stayed here, and I wish him well always.

    Please, don't hate on the Mets or Jason Bay.......let us just enjoy being in first place for at least one game this year.

    Great game - hit a triple - and he got a great reception during the opening ceremonies. I wondered if he chose The Fixer because he's going to fix the broken Mets?

    Ibanez had Force Of Nature dedicated to him at Philly III, and now he comes to the plate to it. Maybe Bay will be at MSG when I go and they can dedicate a song to him, too?

    i am not sure what his song was when he was playing for our lowly pirates...i think it was down with the sickness by disturbed

    As long as reyes stays healthy i think the offense will be very very good, but the starting pitching is just a crapshoot after johan, cant rely on any of these guys right now.

    Probably once a week, I listen to a track from the Pittsburgh '06 boot where Ed goes on about Jason Bay playing in the All Star game in Pgh... got me jacked. LET'S GO BUCS!!!

    All Star game = kiss of death for Pirates fans... anyone who is even considered for it gets traded w/in a season and a half.
