Help PJ beat Zeppelin to win a radio contest!

Go to this website and fill out a quick registration form to vote for PJ so they can beat Zeppelin and win a San Diego radio station contest. They're the final two bands in the contest.     Uh, relax. It's just a meaningless radio poll. And even though I like PJ a whole lot, Led Zeppelin accomplished more in 11 years than PJ has in 20. They were also more influential as a whole than PJ.

    Not dissing PJ, I just think Zeppelin is an overall better band than PJ.

    i'd rather they lose so people wont realize how sad PJ fans can be by voting en masse for every local radio contest that comes around. :)

    the comments can be "wow, PJ is more respected than i thought making it all the way to the finals. maybe i will check them out."

    instead of "what kind of fucking bullshit is this? PJ wins against Led Zep? this shit is rigged!"

    Zeppelin wins. Surprise, surprise. One of the most over-rated bands of all-time, in my opinion. Seven minute guitar solos + Robert Plant's voice/style = not my cup of tea. Thanks anyways guys. Just wanted to see a PJ upset. Oh well.

    Zep deserved to win..You take a poll on who is more popular...Pearl Jam or LZ...LZ will win by a landslide...
    Don't get me wrong..Pearl Jam always will be my favorite band..But, LZ is my second favorite band..

    Yes, you got me. I was exaggerating when I said they have seven minute guitar solos. But relatively speaking, Zeppelin is known for having longer, more solo-oriented songs vs. shorter, punkier songs like The Who, for example. Just my personal preference. I respect them for their place in rock history, I just don't particularly care for Plant's voice/lyrics or Page's guitar style. And I'm annoyed how in love everyone is with Zeppelin sometimes.

    P.S. Stairway to Heaven is the most over-rated song of all-time.

    There is a reason why a lot of people love LZ...LZ is still huge and they haven't played a concert or released a album out in a long time..LZ has stood the test of time and passed it easily..

    I'm actually not trying to be a dick, but I seriously hope we all have better things to do than actually spend time urging and rallying people to vote for a meaningless regional radio contest that has absolutely 0% meaning, relevance, or significance to anything on any level.

    Yes, I realize the irony of posting a "spend your time more wisely" message on an internet messageboard, but hey, it needed to be said. What the hell do I care if 5,000 anonymous online voters like Led Zeppelin more than Pearl Jam. I mean honestly...

    Give me a break. I wasn't taking this seriously and I know it doesn't mean anything. I just thought it would be cool to see PJ upset Zeppelin in a stupid contest for a radio station that I listen to. Sorry for wasting everyone's precious time.
