MLB = the missing link between glam & grunge.

  • To me it sounds like a grunge version of GNR. Not really glam at all, just bad ass.

i wish i could give you an opinion on that but even though i own mother love bone and green river discs, i find them painfully difficult to listen to. thank goodness that they evolved/improved with the addition of mike and ed and we got pj!

  • MLB are awesome that guitar work on that album is some of stones best and the same can be said about Jeff, it was deffenitly more technical like GNR and 80's stuff. But i totally agree with the first post you can hear that its the fusion of both.

  • God I was just listening to this the other day and had the exact same thought. I was thinking back to the transition from Buttrock to Grunge and thought they fit in that transitionary phase really well. I know I went straight from Hair/Glam bands to GnR to all the local Seattle bands that popped up everywhere around here. It was and still is an awesome time to be in Seattle, wouldn't move for the world!
If I knew where it was, I would take you there....there's much more than this.

Seems like they would have fitted in well with some of the hair band, Andrew being the flamboyant type and all. Just remember, sad that it was he died, that if he hadn't Pearl Jam would never have existed.
