I hope all of our Mexican friends in that area (and surrounding areas) are all okay.

Don't forget, there was that big earthquake in Los Angeles a few weeks ago. Is it possible that all these quakes in the same general region of No. America could mean that a BIG one is on its way?

i was at my parents house having easter dinner...we were just finishing and i ate a little much and i started to feel woozy, but it wasn't that normal 'ate too much' feeling...then my sister looks at me thinking i was shaking the table...then everybody was feeling it...it was just like being on a boat...it must have rolled for almost a minute

the only damage was a wine stain on the tablecloth...my dad was reenacting the shaking and knocked over his wie glass :lol::lol:

Hilarious. I was sitting on the sofa in my office working on my computer and my first thought was - shit, I have to save this document. And after that, if it gets worse, I'll get under the desk.

It seemed to go on for a long, long time. Do they know if there's damage in Mexico yet?

:lol: also, we said that we should have taken a picture of the stain and call into the news showing them the damage :lol:

I was in long beach and all we felt was the same rolling. Felt like it lasted 30-45 seconds. Didn't even think it was that crazy till we heard it was 6.9.... Shit, that's pretty BIG for a quake.

Hope everyone's ok .... looks like that quake shook a few ~4.0 quakes around Sacramento a little after it.

Guess we're all on alert for the time being. :?

According to CNN a parking area of a government's building has collapsed due to the earthquake, and some low-level earthquakes had been happening since then... hope no one got hurt.

As far as I know. I'm on the second floor of a 3 story building. I talked to some folks downtown in high rises and they said it was pretty wicked. Thankfully it was more of a roll than a rock :)

Best wishes to our Mexican neighbors

The news coverage in LA seems pretty typical - "There's a woman trapped in an elevator in downtown Los Angeles." But what about the epicenter? And Mexico?

Yeah, I was on my way to meet some people for a couple drinks. I was sitting at a light in Scottsdale when the car started rocking back and forth. I was literally under a overpass at the time . I wasn't sure what the heck it was but once I heard it was an earthquake I thought it was pretty cool!
