My whammy bar is stuck...HELP!

I cannot unscrew it, it get stuck in whichever direction I turn.
It's got some black ash coming out of the hole, wtf!
How do I get it out, it's too tight, if I keep trying to turn something will break.

    sounds like paint . or your re threading the hole.

    sounds like it got overtightened/cross-threaded.. even if you got it out, the threads are fucked.. in which case u would have to buy a new trem if you want the whammy.. so u might as well just snap it off.. replacement trems are fairly cheap and you may even consider an upgrade

    I actually am considering a strat.
    I've had this beginner guitar for 5 years almost.

    I think all the Strats we get here in Australia are made in Japan. :(
