Spring 2010 Tour: SPEED OF SOUND

I gotta say that while I love Backspacer my biggest disappointment was with the studio version of Speed of Sound. The arrangement came out sounding contrived and messy. Mostly it's the drums that did not seem to fit to me. I do however LOVE the demo version a ton.
I feel like this song had a lot more potential and staying power when I heard the demo but now I rarely hear anyone speak of it. I'd love to revive the demo version or would even be into hearing them try out a different arrangment during the upcoming tour. Don't get me wrong, I love Just Breathe but if they need a mellow substitute that promotes BS I would vote to bring this into the fold.
Talk amongst yourselves...discuss.

It's one of the best on Backspacer. Can't wait to hear it in it's full glory this tour.

I'd love to never hear the full band version again after hearing this twice in Philly!
Couldn't disagree more... respectfully of course Johnny Guitar is a great rock song! Speed Of Sound, while a good song, is somewhat of a mood killer at a live show.
