I don't know what font to use
What size
What style
A decimal point used over and over
But for what reason
No one will ever know
I know not what to say
For what I say can't possibly get me paid
Nor laid
The key strokes firm but brief
A keyboard I might be for now
The pounding of my flesh so comparable to yours
But you wouldn't know
For your font dwarfs mine
But please keep me in your thoughts
And perhaps you'll remain in mine
The style of a particular font
Depends on the size of the issue at hand
The validity of the situation I face
Head on
Or from behind
I drown in uncertainty of this kind
The morbid reality that something so real, so exact
Printed out for all the gaze
As if it were definite
Set in stone
As the story of my life is unveiled
