The Palace in Albany getting more love. Eddie started his solo tour there.

I lived in up there for 30 years and after I move away the good shows come pouring in.

Might have to pick up tickets to the DAR show.

Tried there too, not much help. I'll just keep a lookout on TM. I think the show was just added so I'm sure it will pop up.

  • Are you kidding me?!

I just tried to get tickets for the Dallas show and to sit in the orchestra it would cost you $316 for ONE ticket. To sit in the nosebleeds (the cheapest seat) is $105.

Now I love Neil. Harvest is one of the best albums ever recorded, but I cannot justify shelling out that kind of money to see him. To me, this is outrageous. Does he only want his wealthy fans to attend his shows?

Shame on you, Neil. Shame. On. You.

FWIW, I do not make a lot of money. I can pay my bills and have a little leftover for fun. Usually spent on music in some shape or form. How does he expect his "regular" fans to see and hear him? Stand outside the venue while he's playing..?

nah man i ran into the same problem. those tickets that are being sold for that much are the resale tickets from the scalpers. most of the shows have not gone on sale yet. the CT show went on sale yesterday and I got balcony seats for 50.50$. that seems to be the relative price to get. These shows see to mbe going on sale to ticketmaster at wierd times. Just check ticketmaster or first sale ticket websites like livenation.com for cheaper tickets. same thign that happens to PJ tickets happens to neil tickets: tickets get leaked before the whos go on sale and are selling for outrageous amounts

dallas isn't a ticketmaster sale though. tickets have to be bought directly from the dallas symphony website. i'm serious, these are ACTUAL ticket prices for this show.

That's crazy man, I'm sorry to hear that. But if that's the case than I dont think Uncle Neil is to blame. The venue is to blame. Because other people have spent around what I have spent for balcony seats. I suggest waiting until a couple of days before the event until scalpers get desperate and drop ticket prices drastically. Good luck man.

Top price for the Ryman was $144 with all the charges. Top price for Austin was $260. I pulled 7th row in Austin last night but I already have a great seat for Nashville.

Once again...Salt Lake City misses out on a kick ass show. :(

But by the sound of ticket prices...for me, buying a ticket would be like pulling teeth.
    7/2/06 - Denver, CO
    6/12/08 - Tampa, FL
    8/23/09 - Chicago, IL
9/28/09 - Salt Lake City, UT (11 years too long!!!)
    9/03/11 - East Troy, WI - PJ20 - Night 1
    9/04/11 - East Troy, WI - PJ20 - Night 2
  • hey guys and gals. getting pretty pumped up about these neil shows. i was fortunate to see him do a solo performance back in 99 i think at the majestic theatre in san antonio, and i think these shows are going to be great. to my homebox asking about the houston information, i called jones hall and they said tickets go on sale at 10am on april 17th on frontgatetickets.com.
i saw the houston and dallas shows for sale way after the austin and thought i missed the tickets for houston and was quite relieved to find out they hadn't gone on sale yet.
the ticket prices suck, but i think it steers scalpers away. i got 2nd row center for austin and 4th row side for dallas with no internet problems or anything. i hope i do as well for houston too. it's gonna be a great summer.
if you think what I believe is stupid, bizarre, ridiculous or outrageous.....it's ok, I think I had a brain tumor when I wrote that.
  • the ticket prices suck, but i think it steers scalpers away.
    steers fans away too..

yes, i am complaining and bitter and disappointed. i'll get over it though. i just need today to vent and since nobody is around i choose to do it here :?

Austin sold out so there's a market out there for pricey Neil tix.

i really dislike being stuck sitting in the back of the room, only option, cause that's all i can afford.

it was cool that he did "kinda inexpensive" ga floors on his last indoor arena tour.

3 pj shows vs 1 neil show. love ya neil, but...

don't get me wrong i ain't slagging on neil, rather, just reinforcing why i love pearl jam so much. omg

I thought how he did it on the arena tour was great. If you wanted a guaranteed seat close, you paid through the nose ($250?)... But if you had patience, you could get the best spot in the house for $75. That's what I did, and was front row centre!

Just emailed Jones hall about Houston.

Edit: Just saw the above post regarding Jones Hall. Frontgate is usually cheaper than TM. I'll do the cheapest ticket. I'm one of those people that looks at shows like if I'm just in the building then cool. :D

Had behind the stage for Springsteen last year (Kinda shitty considering the price), but still was a great show and he gave us quite a bit of face time.
