Actually...I'm curious about this as well. I've given up on the Philly boots (saw 2 of the 4 shows). I really would like to listen to some of the earlier 09 shows (pre-BS'er release). I'm particularly interested in hearing the BS'er Songs in their original keys (Got Some, The Fixer....(post release) GSMF). I got to hear these in Philly, but I believe they were a half step down...(sounded just as good...my curiousity is driving this desire)

I've heard awesome things about the Berlin show. I have the Portland show and I strongly suggest it to those who haven't heard it. The band seemed really loose/fun. Red Mosq. w/BH....fantastic.

London O2 is also my favourite all time boot and first time they played "Supersonic" live.......

ed talks a little about how MJ would have been on the same stage a few months later and "release" really cooks to get things going....

totally worth the $800 flight to get there from toronto

LA4 is my fav, but thats partly because I was there.

The Aussie boot with Oceans mid-set is also an instant winner for me. And I was unfortunately not there!

LA3's Hunger Strike with Chris Cornell was the best version i've EVER heard vocally - for Chris Cornell. He nailed it - and just a few years ago, he sounded AWFUL on it, when they did it together.

This is also the first version of Hunger Strike I've heard where Eddie actually sings his verse - the 2nd verse, and not the first verse.

The shows I went to and have from 2009:
Perth - has a great vibe - first night of aussie tour, Ed telling jokes/stories, in fine form. Breakerfall to open. (my hometown show)
LA3 - Temple Of The Dog, Gerry's solo on Alive
LA4 - Puddey's spongeworthy site list, Gerry on KOTJ
Melbourne - almost all of 10 played - great performance and 50K there.
Sydney - listen to Ed battle the Flu, Stone does Mankind

I have listened to 2 boots - Berlin and Brisbane.

I went to Berlin so I should love it - but as I stated in another thread I found the mixing of Brisbane to be better and crisper. Especially Eddies vocals (and he's sounding good even if he just had the Flu) The only song I thought sounded "sub par" was Jeremy that never really took of - compared to Berlin which has a nice setlist but no songs stand out to me...

I think Unthought Known in Brisbane was excellent - and a nice talky intro from Ed. Also there is no GTF, Corduroy or Do The Evolution which could be nice for someone who owns a lot of bootlegs.

I'm biased because I was there, but San Diego was an awesome show. The second encore was great with Black leading into Better Man with a fade into Save it for Later followed by Little Wing and So You Want to be a Rock and Roll Star with Eddie's story about working at a gas station and wanting a mohawk...I'm getting excited just thinking about it. :D
