Israel: Operation leaden Press
The military operation Cast Lead waged by Israel against the Gaza Strip has also had repercussions on the press. Israel loses forty-seven places and is at No. 93 ranking. This freefall lost to Israel's status as the leading countries in the Middle East, by passing behind Kuwait (60th) and the United Arab Emirates (86th). In its territory, Israel began to apply the same methods as outside. Reporters Without Borders has been able to identify five arrests, sometimes without any legal framework, and three arrests of journalists. Military censorship applied to all media also pose a threat to the profession. Apart from its territory, Israel reached the 150th place. The results of the war is very heavy: a score of journalists were injured in the Gaza Strip by Israeli armed forces and three were killed while covering the conflict.
don't compete; coexist

"I will promise you this, that if we have not gotten our troops out by the time I am president, it is the first thing I will do. I will get our troops home. We will bring an end to this war. You can take that to the bank." - Barack Obama

when you told me 'if you can't beat 'em, join 'em'
