Some of you may remember the auction to win a Flying V signed by the band.

http://www.pearljam.com/news/autographe ... ty-auction

I was lucky enough to win it, and have finally gotten around to framing it.
Thought I would share a few photos , see what you think.
I think I have given the instrument a home it deserves.

    Nice!

What kind of shop did you get that framed in? I have a frame shop, but we don't have that type of plastic encapsulation available... yet. :D
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

I approached the local frame shop, and he has a contact called "the fabricator" hehe.
I thought it looked a bit different, and I was able to choose the background colour etc.
Basically the back panel is secured to the wall, you fit in your guitar and place all your other stuff, then the cap fits over the top and is secured to the wall.

Yea, that's another thing I liked if I want to change my memorabilia.
The tickets , photos etc are enclosed in a thin plastic covering and stuck on with double sided sticky pads, so they are easily removed from the back panel.

Cool. Be sure it's super dry in that room when you are handling the photos though. Anything touching glass (or plexi) has the potential to stick to it. If you have a photo touching plexi directly, there's a chance that the photo will stick to the plastic that is supposed to be protecting it. Also, is the case UV protected? If not, any images will fade slowly over time.

Sweet. That'd be framed on my wall too, as I am left handed. Thanks for sharing and enjoy.

It's in my sitting room, much to the delight of my wife, so it's always dry.
The case is UV protected, but I'll keep an eye on the photos sticking.

Cool. Humidity can increase the chances of something sticking.

    Again, congrats! It looks awesome!
