First band looks like Soundgarden for sure. Could the 2nd band really be Pearl Jam???

As much as I would love this, seeing that I live in Chicago, it doesn't seem like this is the case . . .every single local writer/blogger/columnist has already leaked that the three main headliners are Soundgarden, GREEN DAY, and Lady Gaga . . .

I thought Pearl Jam fit nicely in that spot, too. Thanks for slowing down my heart rate.
AskPearlJam: PearlJama101-guest says: Who's idea was it for Eddie to play banjo on "Soon Forget"?
Eddie: I don't know whose idea it was but it was turned down.

cool. I didnt pay attention to any of the bands other than SG when the Trib reported the lineup.

talking about lollapalooza -- i have about 100 old rolling stones magazines that my son and i were going through to take an inventory and i came across one last night and it had an article about lollapalooza '92 -- with our beloved band, soundgarden and the red hot chili peppers. wish i had been there -- what an amazing line up back in the day!

Its been too soon since PJ played Lola, C3 doesn't roll like that. They will go sometime before repeating headliners...
Further back and forth a wave will break on me, today...

Perry needs to bring back Lollapalooza on the road again. Chicago's great & all but it's just plain boring to have it at one place. A Lollapalooza Tour around America would be awesome!

    Just sayin'

they cant do that cuse it wont make money like the last time they tried that, cause the lineup sucke, unless they get a real good lineup like pearl jam tool or something to go cross country that idea wont work i dont think.

  • slightly stoopid and wolfmother kick ass, if lolla could get another 7 or 8 good bands like soundgarden, they could do a US tour with those type of bands if you ask me, they are all very good live. it when you water it down with some of those other bands that it gets shitty. that why lolla work so good in early 90s new good talent like pj, nin etc.

soundgarden/slightly stoopid/wolfmother is a good start though, maybe add along THEM CROOKED VULUTURES and some other bands and you got a good tour. i dont wanna see blues traveler or shit like that though
