Infringement Notices from ISP's

I have heard of people receiving infringement notices for downloading shows/movies off torrents.
Has anyone here ever received them?
Anything to be concerned about?
I was about to download season 4 of South Park and someone posted a comment on the torrent saying they got a notice.

    All that you get is a notice saying "please delete this material and do not download ever again". I got one and continued to download stuff lol.

    uh oh.

    only think i download is PJ boots, so no issues fo me.
