the WHO, QUADROPHENIA and EDDIE?

???? Word on the street if all goes well tonite and Uncle Neil's suggestion to PT for his ears works a Fall Tour of Quadrophenia is in the air. My question is if PJ is all done w/ touring BS and Matt is off drumming w/ SG, would Eddie play the role of the Godfather in the shows? He loves the WHO like no-one else and it would also make Daltrey's load alot easier. Just asking??? It would be amazing!!!

Was an amazing gig man, nearly blagged a backstage party gig but was told eddie had to get a very early flight back.what a taster for may, flying over from london for both msg and then berlin via vip hyde park.

Everyone on the WHO site is obviously very biased, but they are raving that it was absolutely mind-blowing! Remember last time the WHO did Quiadrophenia PT was playing Acoustic, tonite supposedly he was Hendrix-like? Only going by what I've read, but he does when inspired have that ability to make you lose yourself in his playing. Anyways no-one has any responses to Eddie playing 20 or so shows w/ the WHO?

Neil Young advised PT on a doctor to see for his hearing! PT had said if this doesn't work then tonite would be the last time the WHO ever play Quadrophenia and maybe any other shows for that matter? The Super Bowl show brought back his hearing problems and NY had told PT about some special device that his doctor gave him. Now from the sound of how tonite went and the rehearsals w/ Eddie leading up to it, there is a rumour on the WHO site that they want to tour QUADROPHENIA IN THE FALL? That is why I asked if anyone thought w/ PJ probably done w/ BScome Fall would Eddie be up for playing the GODFATHER as he did tonite.

How many songs did Edddie sing on? I saw this show 3 times in 96/97 and I believe Eddie is playing the part Billy Idol played? From what I can remember it was quite a bit. They may have changed it up because back in 96/97 RD still could pretty much hit anything he wanted, so maybe EV had a bigger role then Idol? Heard LOR was devastating, care to comment on what you thought the highlights were.

Just finished Quadrophenia. Now I remember why I took this w/ me when I traveled through Europe for 4 months back in 97! This is my DESERT ISLAND ALBUM, it just never gets old! The anger and frustration talks to every GENERATION. It certainly spoke to me when I was young and obviously this album changed Eddie's life for the better.
