i'm just saying that the song has absolutely no energy. the crowd nearly falls asleep!
i was not at the boston shows in '03 but i've been to 42 shows since 1996.
I hope their next album is full of songs as challenging and different as this one. cool track.

My favorite song on Binaural. I think I'm beginning to really like this album
This track, Parting Ways, Of The Girl, Thin Air, NAIS are
increasingly becoming great songs to me.
Might be my favorite PJ song ... certainly one of my top songs from PJ's "later period."
It might be a "show-stopper" ... but then again, anything that isn't "Jeremy" is a show-stopper to a lot of people. Fuck those people. They don't like me. I don't like them.
everybody wants the most they can possibly get
for the least they could possibly do

When I heard Jeremy at ER 1, I found it to be a bit of a show stopper...somewhat boring in all honesty, didn't do anything live for me at all. Personally, thats a song they can put away.

SOH is a very emotionally charged song so it may not be a jump around song but it is far from being "void of energy", i think it's because it's one of those songs that needs to be deciphered and not everyones thinking goes deep enough to go where Ed was when he wrote it.
not that everyone can't have a superficial grasp on it,but to truly "feel it" is another story.
