Switching TV providers. About to loose dvr HD PJ. What to do

I have HD recorded on my DVR of Iconoclasts, Conan performance, SNL performances, Ed & Penn interview on Charlie Rose, and a bunch of other goodies from over the last 3 years.

Is this HD videos something that some of you have on HD DVD that I'd be able to get, if I can't ever DVR it again?

    either go to some torrent sites and get them or ask D from Canada...i bet he has all that shit on DVD.

    My cable reception starting screwing up about a month ago. The cable company tried everything they could do over the phone, but then told me just to bring my box in. Without thinking, I took it in for a replacement box and forget about ALL of the PJ stuff I had it on. It wasn't until this weekend that I realized what a mistake I had made! It's all gone now!!!.......... :(

    yeah..they have HD...i got the ACL show in HD...and you don't need a bluray burner to burn HD.

    yeah..they have HD...i got the ACL show in HD...and you don't need a bluray burner to burn HD.

    Definately don't ask the roommates of the guy who had all of his stuff deleted on purpose.

    Hell yeah! 8-) You can still find the original .ts HD downloads via torrent style. I've saved them all on HD & backup DVDr's. Also made HD ts feeds to DVD using HDTV2DVD. Sweet freeware app. Need a hookup, let me know my man! :)

    So when you get them from torrents in HD you can watch them back on your TV in HD? I know you would be able to watch it on your PC in high def, but what about watching it on your big screen?

    I know burning them to a standard DVD+R from a torrent site won't produce a HD picture- when playing it in your blu ray player/dvd player etc
