    How do you people even know who My Chemical Romance is???

    If they suck so bad, stop exposing yourself to their music!

    There's plenty of independent radio station options. If I don't like a song I would change the station before I even find out who they are.

    The fact that an adult is upset about that is pathetic. Reminds me of 14 year olds voting for Backstreet Boys on TRL in 1998 and them losing to some other shit band.

    The results thus far obviously speak to the MTV demographic much more so that quality of the artists. Regardless of how many times PJ fans voted, we're no match for iPhone toting 16 year olds. That along with the ridiculousness of some of the picks (Creed over KOL!) makes this entire thing an exercise in futility.

    Hahah - is it that survey thing? Who cares. I have a kid who has at least 3 huge posters of Gerard way on her wall. And she likes Pearl Jam too. They use a lot of pyrotechnics, I'll say that for them - took her to a couple shows. She's 15 now. They're not the greatest, but they're not the worst either.

    Not saying you can't have opinions but going on the internet and crying about them losing to a band that is arguably much more popular and relevant currently? Come on now. The poll was on MTV....do you think any readers of their site give a shit about pearl jam anymore? I'm also not sure what complaining and criticism I can't handle?

    agreed. i don't let the target demographic of a band fog my ears. if you actually listen and give it a chance, the black parade is an excellent album.
