See this needle...a see my hand...
Drop drop dropping it down...oh so gently...
Well here it comes...I touch the plane...
Turn me up...won't turn you away...
Allright, I thought I knew my shit but the discovery of this site has exposed holes in my pj brain. Someone will need to explain what the Birdman Sessions are.....Ed singing Radiohead, what the hell? What is Hymn? I thought I had all of the Ten / Mookie demos but I've never heard this Daddy Could Swear I Do Declare. Wishing Well? Sunburn? Anything in Between?

Someone please, share your knowledge.
all I know of what you asked is that Hymn is a spoken word poem by Jack Kerouac, which Ed performs. Also, Anything In Between is a b-side from Binaural.
I don't know what those Birdman Sessions are either...
"Music could provide the light you cannot resist" -R.E.M., "I'm Gonna DJ"
"My relationship with the band began as a love affair on the phone with Jeff." -Eddie Vedder, Rolling Stone, 10/28/93
Take time to see the sky,
Find shapes in the clouds.
Hear the murmur of the wind
and touch the cool water.
Walk softly,
we are intruders,
tolerated briefly
In an infinite universe.
A very early demo for a very small--maybe studio audience.
Wishing Well Lyrics
» Gary Moore
Take off your hat, kick off your shoes.
You know you ain't goin' anywhere.
Spend all your time singin' your blues.
You know you ain't goin' anywhere.
You've always been a good friend of mine
But you always say farewell.
And the only time that you're satisfied
Is with your feet in the wishing well.
In the wishing well.
Throw down your gun, you might shoot yourself.
Or is that what you're tryin' to do?
Put up a fight you believe to be right
And one day the sun will shine through.
You've always got somethin' to hide.
Somethin' you just can't tell.
And the only time that you're satisfied,
Is with your feet in the wishing well.
In the wishing well.
But I know what you're wishing for.
Love in a peaceful world.
Love in a peaceful world.
Love in a peaceful world.
You've always been a good friend of mine
But you always say farewell.
And the only time that you're satisfied
Is with your feet in the wishing well.
In the wishing well.
In the wishing well.
Everybody's got a dream.
And they take it to the wishing well.
Everybody's got a dream.
Wishing well.
'We're learning songs for baby Jesus' birthday. His mum and dad were Merry and Joseph. He had a bed made of clay and the three kings bought him Gold, Frankenstein and Merv as presents.'
I have a first week rehearsals [so it says] on cd..
it has a different version of alone then over at fuelfriends, also has Goat, Daddy could swear, very rare YL, Weird A [animal instrumental] Girl, Brother w/lyrics, and very rough mixes of Breath, Evenflow, once, release, Alive, Oceans, Black.
listening to Anything in Between for the first time and I realize this band has so much good shit they haven't released and i don't know why. They could have still included some of these songs on other albums. btw, wth is Ed muttering in AiB?
Since it appears to be ok to discuss this (this thread has been active for a good 4 days now) I'll point you guys to a website I found that has this mp3, amongst other things on it.
Apparently the guy who runs it (he emailed me a few day ago) said the archive he's setup is for hard to find Pearl Jam stuff that everyone has had at one point but has either lost of forgotten about.
FYI, this song had nothing to do with the birdman recordings. It may have been packaged with the Birdman recordings in some download package that was available, but this song was recorded by the band at a completely different time than the stuff that Ed recorded with the "Birdman".
