    wow everyone is silent? I guess seeing both articles one with BUSH on with OBAMA says it all, parties no longer matter only the agenda! Welcome to the Orwellian UTOPIA!

    Regard NAFTA as you may, but I never understood the fear towards decent and pretty tamper-proof ID cards. Unless you have a problem with ID cards in general of course. How do I lose my privacy if I have a solid ID-card I have to show for id purposes?

    First of all, I doubt Canada would ever partake in such a union, Canadians have a deep mistrust of Americans. Also we have a minority parliament, which in all likely hood will stay a minority for years to come so you would never get enough votes to pass such a matter. For me the way would be for the government to hold a referendum on the subject.

    Believe me, if this was actually signed by a Canadian PM, the opposition parties would have exploited it to force an election and defeat the current government. Anyone can take news clips and edit them together to create a conspiracy.

    Dude I remember watching Lou Dobbs news show when this was going on! Honestly it doesn't matter it is a done deal SUCKS for all of us. Lou dobbs show was the only mainstream news show I used to watch.

    I don't doubt Lou Dobbs believe's this and the country may have signed an agreement to explore this, but here in Canada before anything like that would go into effect their has to be a vote in the house of commons. We've had minority parliaments since then, the other parties would vote against this. I'm very skeptical that we even discussed this possibility, simply because it would be used against the PM to defeat him.

    Dude, timc is rite, and it's going to happen. Wether u, I or your government Want it to happen or not, it's going to happen. I know It sounds hard to believe but it's true.
