Can you provide a link about him wanting to invade Iran? I thought he wanted a timetable for pulling out of Iraq?

ron paul also doesn't believe in using the military.

obama, hillary, romney and definately rudy may not be the answer...but a libertarian in republican's clothes doesn't work for me.
and i respect many of ron paul's ideals...but he will never win b/c he's to libertarian.

  • Mike Huckabee is in my opinion the best presidential candidate for the future. People need to pay attention to his campaign.

Look up Joe Biden. It would suck for the right man for the job to not get looked at just because other people have more money and more airtime. If you are interested in looking at positions on issues, check him out.

It's all about who has the most money. Look who the media gives the most attention too.....the people with money.

It is my opinion that elections need to be set up with the canidates stances on issues, and you vote on that...without knowing who it is your voting for.

I guess you missed those posts about Ron Paul. Just kidding to all those Ron Paul supporters--there is nothing they hate more than calling Paul a joke candidate.

I'm glad to hear Stone is supporting Obama. I have never seen a more inspiring candidate in my lifetime than Brack Obama. I hope he has success in turning out nontraditonal voters in the early states. Everyone on this board in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, & South Carolina, should strongly consider participating in their early caucus/primaries. I think this is one of the most important presidential elections we will ever know.

For god's sake, let's make this election a matter of listening carefully and judging a person's character as opposed to their capacity to navigate trap-questions.
... and the will to show I will always be better than before.

If Hillary makes the Democratic nomination, we're going to see four more years of a Republican in charge.

Like him or not, when matched up against Republicans, Obama has the best chance of winning.

I blame the aliens. Obama is their robot. They just keep them puppets rolling on in off the manufacturing line.. Call in Mulder and Skully!

Obama's playing the game to get elected. You don't play the bullshit political game, you don't get elected.

I'm just going off of statistics and gut feeling. Bush won because he was "likeable".. Hillary does not have a good rep of being a cool person.

The average voter doesn't put too much thought into who they are going to vote for.

Good site for polling info - http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/national.html

At this point, general election polling is more or less name recognition. The most telling predictability numbers other than these polls are a candidates negatives--or the number of people who say they would never vote for candidate x. There hasn't been any extensive polling on those recently but the polls that have been done show Clinton with abnormally high unfavorables.

The general consensus that Hillary will have a more difficult time in a general election is probably accurate, but that doesn't mean she can't win.

Here is a pretty good recent summary - http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/election2008/2007-11-07-clinton-poll_N.htm

Just want to remind everyone again in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, & South Carolina to particiapte in your early caucus/primary!

My crystal ball tells me its gonna be Giuliani vs Clinton, and Clinton will win. Feel free to look this thread up when it comes true next year.

I was watching some republican debates, and actually found myself agreeing with ron paul on some things.

Why doesnt edwards get more publicity? Right now he is close to the top of my list.

    Mr. Paranoia? Not even close!

I guess you could say i am part of the small minority of people who don't have their head up their ass, wear blinders or swallow the constant fear mongering propaganda.

the truth is beyond some people's comprehension or better yet,it is far worse than many can handle, thus the denial.

the n.w.o. aka Illuminati are the puppeteers,to answer your question.and you can fire away with your "conspiracy" accusations all you want,it only proves your lack of knowledge on this subject,or your state of denial.

Educate yourself or educate me, but don't make silly oblique statements that sound like the strings are being pulled by faceless men behind curtains. If you have personal specific knowledge of Obama or any other candidate, please enlighten us. But so far, your rhetoric makes you sound like you're on your way to the mall with a gun. you know, the psychotic ron paul fan-boy asshats probably do more to damage his credibility than anything the candidate could actually do on his own.

Have you guys, you know, ever considered just shutting the hell up. And could you take your damn Lithuanian spammers with you while you're at it.
