Sports betting in Vegas

my sister is there this week, and i would like her to "legally" get some wagers in for me on the Final 4......but she comes home Saturday, so we wont be able to collect. If you hold a winning ticket, does anyone know if it is good for life basically, or is there a certain time limit to cash it in? thanks

    most sports books allow you to mail back a winning ticket and they will send your winnings. I've never done it but I believe this is printed on the back of the ticket. I believe the timeline is one year but not totally sure about it.

    One year is right. I mailed in a futures bet that I won and I had a chcek sent to me in about a month.

    bettingn final 4 is an iffy proposotion, IMO. best to bet mid season games where a trend has been established.

    Yup. usually one year after the event, you could mail it in. Normally it is printed on the back of the ticket, and all the major casinos should have this same rule.

    you should take some futures also. especially mlb as it is just starting up. nhl and nba playoffs would be cool too.
