Scam??

Someone sent me a pm on my YouTube and offered to buy my account for 700$ because of my high traffic. He wants to advertise on it. He said he will pay 400$ through paypal and after I give him password he will send the rest of $. I am to not to delet anything, leave as is. My first thought was SCAM, but I got to thinking about it and if he put the money in my paypal then would it a scam. I'm good at spotting scams but I don't know about this???
