PJ V KOL

Apparently Pearl Jam is still just as a big of a draw as Kings Of Leon. I just scored 6 pit tickets for KOL at Comcast theatre an hour after on sale and my friend could only get nose bleeds for PJ at XL Center minutes after on sale. Don't know if May versus August shows as any implication but I figured KOL would sell out reserved seats quick. Either way I am going to both and also have good seat to PJ. Thanks Tenclub. :D

KOL also has paperless ticketing this tour which SIGNIFICANTLY increases your chances of getting tickets...and excellent ones at that.

Not sure why PJ has not gone this route :?

I've given KOL tons of chances. I just can't get into them.

This method pretty much eliminates scalping....where as I am sure a HIGH percentage of PJ tickets were purchased by scalpers to re-sell at a higher rate later.

I like both bands. Seen Kings Of Leon 7 times (will be 8 in Aug.). Seen PJ twice (3 in may). I like PJ better but if Kings can stay around for anpther 10 years or so good for them. Looking forward to see what they can do.

I'm curious, how does paperless ticketing eliminate scalping; is it because you need ID?

You need ID AND the credit card you used to purchase the tickets...no transfers.

So if you buy 4 tickets....the three other people need to enter with you when your cards are scanned at entry.

Yes; it pretty much prevents ebay flippers and scalping
