10c tickets being scalped

take a look at these seats at the top going for $1300 each... no exact seat just says guarenteed rows 1-25. No shipping options you can only meet the person the day of the show to get the tickets for a "meet and greet". Looks very suspicious to me.

It appears to me that this "meet and greet" is in relation to the band, but that can't be true.

meet and great means you have to meet the seller at the venue. These are most definitely 10C tickets.

    $500 in service fees?

There's only one "service" I could think of that could possibly be worth $500, and for that price that service better be provided by Jessica Alba, Megan Fox, Natalie Portman, Marisa Tomei and Alyssa Milano all at the same time.

Elliot Spitzer was paying 2rs an hour for that Rachel chick....and apparently she wasn't even close to the most expensive one. She was a low cost hi class ho I guess. .....I'd like to see the more expensive girls if she looks like that though hahaha

If I had 10c tickets and someone was willing to pay me close to $4,000 for them then who is

So if for some reason, Natalie wasn't available that night, but everybody else was, you'd cancel the meeting and demand a refund?

If he isn't a member, I bet he is assuming he can find an opportunist 10C member at will call who would sell their seats to him for $750 each, so that both make a tidy profit.

these seats are in the ticketing network so they show up on all the generic ticket websites. doesnt matter who u call bec they arent going to know much about the seats. its usually a 10clubber that knows someone with access to the network. if you google pj tickets you will see the same seats and description on every site from the network.

Not sure why everyone is getting all worked up, no one is going to buy the tickets for $1,300 plus fees.

I remember a show at the meadowlands where a 10clubber sold his front row seats to someone for $2500. i couldnt believe it. my guess it was the sat show 6/3/06 at continental area, it was whatever show/year after it had rained like a mutha the show before it.....make sense. i cant remember too well, sometime they all blend!

This is terrible but if someone is actually stupid enough to spend that kind of money on concert tickets then so be it.

Yeah, you'd think most people would know this by now. These "hey, look at this" threads only give other people ideas.

Well if they’re meeting them at the venue and the person buying them doesn’t give a crap about the fan club, then the guy will not get caught.

Although, it did happen in Philly, someone traveled here for two shows and was told at the 10club ticket window that his tickets were no longer available for that night, nor would they be the next night and that his fan club membership was revoked. That had to hurt.

I can’t stand scalpers one way or the other, so I absolutely refuse to buy tickets for anything that way – why should I pay my hard earned money for someone who apparently has disposable income to just buy and sell tickets at will. They’re not getting anything above ticket value from me.

    Awesome. 8-)

And there are those who think that the TC rules of not scalping shouldn't be enforced. But if you don't enforce them, then the tickets become even harder or impossible to get, except thru paying a scalper. Whenever possible, this should be stopped.

I'm VERY glad the TC takes scalping very seriously.

...so, did someone email TC this link yet?
