    Some nights I think I rock on Jeopardy and other nights I totally suck :lol:

    and I loved Mama's Family, still catch the reruns once in a while

    I actually tried out for Jeopardy, twice.

    Back when I had just graduated college, they were coming to Boston for a contestant search, my brother called in and put me and my mother (a Jeopardy addict, who got me into the original show when I was a very young child) on the list. The test was 50 questions on 50 different categories and you had like 30 minutes. There were about 200 people in the room, after Alex came in and talked to us, the producers came back in and read off like 10 names to proceed to the second part of the test, a mock game. Neither of us were in that 10.

    About 8 years ago, they came back and I called in and got into the tryouts again (no Mom this time). I made it to the second round, and participated in the mock game. Was told along with everyone else we'd be contacted if/when selected to go to Cali to be on the show. Fuckers still haven't called.

    Hey at least you tried. Alex used to live next door to my grandfather (probably 50 yrs ago) I've always wanted to write to him and ask him if he remembers my grandpa and maybe if he does I could get a free trip!

    You should go for it and try out for the show, amentschick. I do surprisingly well to when I watch it. I know a lot of useless information.
    These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.

    Jeopardy Rocks, I'm pretty decent at it. I just hate when the musical, ballet, & us presidents categories come up, I'm might as well leave the room. I suck at those one. But if its anything to do with sports, watch out...I'll run the categorie. :D
