Tired of MSG request threads

Really guys? It was cool the first 500 times but damn I almost miss those darn poster threads.
Freebird? what PJ songs aren't good enough? since thats the case I wanna hear Brittney Spears "Sometimes" I think PJ would do a great cover on that.
Anyway just really getting out of hand....
Just take lastyears setlist add some backspacer take out some avacado and POOF you have MSG 2010.

    Freebird I think is more of a joke thread and they've consolidated them a lot the last few days.

    I'm not sure why adding another thread helps out either -- people are trying to have fun discussing songs are a few people are all up in arms about it. I can't understand that... I guess some are mad it pushes their posters, vinyl, benny Vinyl sales threads down and whatnot.

    The thing is, a lot of this is just wasted breath (or finger work on the keyboard) as the band most likely does not read all these posts, if any. The only way requests really get played is if someone has a really touching, important, true story to tell about why the song being played would mean something really big, and then Kat would probably just show it to one of the guys or something.

    Other then that, best bet, run into one of the guys on the day of the show, let them know what you want to hear, and don't have it be something they haven't ever played or rehearsed recently, and they will probably throw it in there for you if they remember, and it would still help to have a good reason to hear it, not "can you play bugs?!" why? "because that would be so cool dude!!". Of course, running into one of the guys is not the easiest thing to do.
    words seem so out of place.
