Vitalogy Health Club Newsletters...

Hi everyone... been member since 2005 and I would like to know more about the old newsletters (Vitalogy Health Club)... before they became DEEP Magazine... they were like a book???, were a piece of paper???

I saw some on ebay and I want to know how many they are and where I can find a picture or more info about it... they're not on pjcollectors.com (I guess this one is just for lp,cd,vhs,dvd)

Would be nice to have them all :geek:

I have some that are like newspapers, little booklets, a calendars just off top of my head. I don't have them all tho

i have them . i also have some fold out car that looks like an ambulance . have to dig them all out . there in a folder untouched .

of course i will have to ask the wife what tote there in . lol .

i remember one -- with lettering in Russian

also at that time the goods section was selling a winter hat with flaps and a picture of a goat on it (like a russian solider's hat)

they were different each time. there was a giant orange fold out one for halloween. a small black and red one that folded up kinda like one of those games you play where you make people pick a number and there's something about them being a poopyhead under the flap. there was one designed kinda like a newspaper, from memory..... the one where ed starts off talking about being in a port-a-loo listening to REM. the calendar was cool.

They varied from year to year in format, print, and the like.
Originally it was Ten Club, then got changed to Vitalogy Health Club around the time of the Album but got changed back to TC later. There were calenders, fold out poster/ books all very different from year to year.
Also when you renewed your membership you got a mail drop that notified you of the confirmation, again these
were nicely designed either a postcard or a fold out letter. One of my faves is the VHC renewal postcard which has the No Code poloroids on the front but they are all pictures of eyes.

I looked for the fold out car, the hearse ambulance, i know i had it on a shelf for a while, not sure if it went to college with me, or came back for that matter. i do have the t shirt with the ambulance, and the gremmie out of control t shirt. I did find Vitalogy Health Club Newsletter number eleven. a 12 page panflet
first page talks about the letterman show with no commercials, no cameras at shows, audio recorders are fine at shows, the membership fees as of 1-1-97 have gone up to $10.
other page has a jack irons interview and a mix cassette tape contest. the rest are some notes and interview by the band.
i also have a bunch of random index cards of merchandise for sale.
For the record, i dont plan on keeping any Deep stuff.
