OFFICAL MSG Concert DVD, How The Fans Can Help - Signup
A few days ago i announced an idea for a project that i thought we could come together as fans and work on. Since then i have been looking into how to get it done. Here are my thoughts, and if you'd like to sign up to help, heres the place to do it.

I propose that on this thread we can say if were interested in helping, in any way.
Here's what we need to do.
Get between 15-30 people who have hand held digital cameras that also are capable of shooting video.
Get each person to agree to film X amount of songs, and post the videos on youtube.
Once all the different versions of songs are out, I can download them and burn them into an data dvd that contain all the different versions of the songs.
We can then release the files via a torrent site, many to chose from.
Then, we, the fans, can either A come together to make a fan produced dvd, and/or B, different people could make THEIR OWN versions of the films. Then we could vote and create an official MSG dvd, that we could then distribute FOR FREE via torrent sites and through people (like me) who can agree to send X copys out of my pocket, and we can get more volunteers.
WHAT YOU NEED
A Cell phone that captures video, or, a digital camera that captures video, an internet connection, and the promise to upload and film certian songs. The more footage from each song helps make a better video when edited.

Also it should be quite a bit cheaper to buy smaller memory cards (just get two 16gigs instead of one 32gig). Though having one is nice because you won't have to switch out and have the chance of missing something important. Also it is crucial to use fast cards so that you can capture HD content without errors.
I suggest looking around the internet for the best deals. Amazon, Newegg, and B&H are all great sites (and store in the case of B&H).
I'm not sure how many people want to buy a camera for the project (though obviously a camera can be used for other uses long after the concert). But just thought I'd throw in my suggestions.
And most people have cameras!
