    That is fucking awesome. Watching DMB live is for me the musical equivalent of being hit over the head with a shovel repeatedly.
    It makes much more sense to live in the present tense.

    Also, Lets not forget the same video could have been made about a Pearl Jam fan.

    I like DMB and I thought this was pretty funny. But his description of the typical fans forgot the most bitched about demographic here in the Pit: frat boy and sorrority girl types. I remember seeing them play in Austin several years ago now and I was surrounded by college aged kids chatting away like they were at a party watching a band. It was unnerving. But really though, that' s no reason to hate the band.

    yeah, those fans were addressed. i believe he referred to them as stoned meat heads.

    i like dmb. but when i'm at shows i sometimes have this conversation with myself. i think myself, "man..you are a pussy. and why is EVERYONE talking and not paying attention to the show? this sucks"

    i don't think it's hating something as much as making fun of yourself. at least for me

    I guess it would be healthier to not hate anything.. but i don't like the music, well that is to say i really don't like his voice.. every time i have been dragged to a show i usually spend the whole time watching Carter.. he is good.. but that video is funny as shit!! I would love if he did a pearl jam one.. hope you all enjoyed it

    i love DMB too, but I don't go to their concerts because of the fans he was talking about. An endless sea of frat boys with sun visors and tight shirts.
