For those that got shut out of MSG. How about a lottery?
Thanks Pete

Suggestion:
All those that got shut out of MSG 1&2 would be eligible to email the 10C staff to be entered into a single ticket lottery for rows 1-2 & 9-10.

But for a pair.

Another lottery for everyone that didn't get tickets the second time?
I feel you're pain, but I think the 10 club is doing the best job they can under the circumstances.
Hey man, just trying to get more 10C fans in the building.
If 10C had more tickets to sell im sure they would.
Who knows when they choose what 10C member will be upgraded? Or perhaps a 10c member automatically is chosen for those rows when they buy tix. But that seems like it would require some special program.

I agree. I get tix every time they go on sale. I dont think I have the fastest computer or connection in the world. I even got tix on Sat morinng through Ticketmaster for a friend.

It has nothing to do with how fast your connnection or computer is. People have gotten tix with dial-up! You have to think of it like playing a slot machine.
Explain why?

SG: 10/4/08<-- MET STONE!!!
and then they put us all in brackets
and then they can call it May Madness
and then each time you can vote for a team and then the team with the most votes moves on to the next round
and then at the end... the winning team
gets nothing
because it's a stupid idea
you got shut out... sorry... all the seats are sold... go to EBAY or STUBHUB or the corner of 42nd st
i am sorry that so many didn't get tix, though.
Like I said, I'm just trying to get more 10C fans in the building. I'd take upper deck, but don't want to support scalping/ticket brokers.
I think i have to agree with that! i got shut out of msg2 so i went and got 2 tixs off ebay!!
For just over the face value price, people just have to look!
All those yesterdays
All those yesterdays
All those paper plates
Giving away rows 1/2/9/10 wouldn't get more 10c fans in the building, though, since those rows will already be filled with 10c fans.
You're right, only if the 10C staff has already chosen which 10C members will get those rows. What if they haven't?
What difference does it make which ones? 10c is 10c. Unless i"m confused.

10c already sold the tickets for those rows in the presale. you would be taking seats away from 10c members to give to 10 members. 10c would have to allocate the equivalent of 1,2,9 and 10 rows in other places of the venue. which if they were going to do that, why not just put those tickets on sale in the presale to begin with?
So I guess that lottery tix are determined on the date of purchase.

No. What they're trying to say is that the allocation of tickets has been sold out, therefore no 'extra' tickets left. Part of this allocation is in the lottery rows. These are just 'reserved for lottery', not allocated seats/tickets yet. Guess that happens when they put the tickets in the envelopes before the show!
So the idea of having an extra lottery for these 'reserved rows' (ie putting more 10C fan bums on seats) is not possible. There are no unaccounted seats.
If the 10 club gets 2000 seats to sell for the presale, and they sell 2000 seats during the presale, all seats are sold. They then take these 2000 tickets and shove them into 1000 envelopes that each contain a member number and name. Those tickets off the top of the pile (i.e., rows 1/2/9/10) get stuffed into random envelopes, hence, lottery.
Let me reiterate... 10 club gets x number of tickets... 10 club sells SAME x number of tickets... no more tickets to sell, give out, raise money for charity with, wipe their asses with, so on and so forth.
i second this, however i'm sure dealing with pairs is a lot easier to handle when you're talking about hundreds if not thousands of tickets.
Because I fought long and hard for my 10c tickets when they went on sale, and I deserve a shot to get the tix in those rows.
Im sorry that you didnt get tickets, and I hope you're able to find some.
BTW, I love coffee in the afternoon. Starbucks is the shit.

for sure ... but as far as getting as many die hard fans into the best seats as possible - it's the only way ...
