I love this song and sometimes forget about it. Time for this gem to make its concert debut. Maybe start a first encore with it? thoughts?

Hearing this during a full moon at Indy would be killer.
Great song.
It's definitely one of the difficult ones. Mike especially has a hard time with Matt's songs because he doesn't think when he plays - he half-asses everything. Out of all the times Evacuation was played, only one performance is free of errors - the one on TB2K. Sometimes I wonder if people would enjoy these songs more if the band would really practice and nail them.
I feel like its the same basic idea as Sad just slowed down. I don't see why it would sound like crap? Any ideas as to why?

Because it's tough to play and Mike would probably fuck it up a lot. Besides, they would probably rather play Corduroy again than actually practice something.
Looking at the tab, which im sure isn't that accurate, doesn't make it seem that tough to play. Like I said it kind of reminds me of sad just slowed down with a groove to it. Is it the timing of the groove that makes it hard?

Oh yeah, it's all about the timing. That's what I was trying to say about Mike - he's used to sailing through songs that are 4/4 all the way through. It seems to me that Matt's songs are out of his league because he actually has to put some effort into rememering all the time changes. He is VERY prone to mistakes like that.
Makes sense, I wish they would practice it. I would be completely thrown off if I ever heard them bust into this one and I would lose it!

Funny enough I believe in the liner notes in Lost Dogs it is mentioned that "In the Moonlight" is a Matt Cameron composition. I believe "Rival" is as well.
If I'm correct if the "Fixer", "In The Moonlight" and "Rival" are all Matt songs that's pretty freaking awesome being that he's the drummer.
By the way I have yet to hear all three of these live so if they just did them all in a row that would be bitch!!!!

That is an impressive list for Matt, actually I'd be fine if that was part of the set what you included but they should play Rival at some point as well.
