Anyone at this show? trying to settle a bet with my buddy, who was there with me, but to drunk to remember obviously..

    Trying to find out if anyone at the show witnessed the haircut.. Let me set the tone... this is the best i can remember..

    they are playing RVM and just getting into the break down part, some guy jumps on stage. security grabs him and Eddie starts to yell at him "what gives you the right to jump on my stage?" Then he begins to rip on his hair-do.. " and what is up with your fucking hair??, do ya want it short or do ya want it long" he says. followed by something to the effect of " you must be canadian".. keep in mind, the band is still playing the middle of RVM. Ed gives him a choice " you can go to jail or i can cut your hair" the man pleads with him.. Ed signals to someone on Stone's side, and they come out with scissors. Ed cuts off the mullet, then they rip back into the end of the song.. and my buddy has no clue what i am talking about..

    From the 1998 Concert Chronology on TFT...
    ...during an incredible ‘RVM’ (introed by Ed by saying, “first gear … second gear … third gear …” all the way up to fifth), a stagediver invades the stage, is removed by Eric Johnson, and Ed says, “No, bring him back,” and then says “kneel” and the guy gets on his knees. Then he turns to the crowd and says sarcastically, “These fucking assholes who try to get onstage piss me off … not to mention the HAIRCUT” and the crowd goes wild, he’s got a haircut that is short on the top and long on the back, “let me guess – you’re from CANADA – what the fuck?! Either you want it short, or you want it long – make up your fucking mind!” and then he cuts his hair with a pair of Swiss Army Knife scissors (not before whispering in his ear to make sure it was okay).

    well i guess that answers the question.. Thanx all for the input.. If that article is accurate, i am surprised by how close i got it 11.5 years later.. fuck i am getting old, all of us i guess..
