What number would Vedder wear if he were a Cub?

Hey all,
This year I finally got my season tickets to the Chicago Cubs. Its been a long 10-year wait. To celebrate, I am buying a custom jersey to wear for the season. It has always been my idea to have "Vedder" on the back of it.

However, until now, I hadn't really put too much thought into what number to use. The 2 front runners right now are 23 and 10.

23 because there are a lot of blogs out there sighting Eddie in a Vedder/23 Cubs jersey at some point in time, however, as a Cubs fan, it feels a bit sacrilegious to have any name on 23 other than Ryne Sandberg.

10 because of the album and Mookie and... well.. you guys know the history.

Thoughts? Any numbers that are more meaningful that I haven't thought of?

    Even though i am a yankee fan i do wish the Cubs success. They are def due. I think Eddie is a single digit guy like #8. looks like Andre Dawson was the only big time player to wear 8 for the cubs.

    never really understood people's rationale with wanting an eddie vedder cubs jersey. kinda silly to put another fan's name on the back of your very own jersey.

    why not put your name on the back of it... or an actual player's name ?
