MSG virgin

Morning!

I managed to get tickets for MSG but they are in section 212 which looks to be behind the stage according to the MSG website.

Do they sometimes put the stage in the centre for concerts and play in the round?

Either way, see you in May!

    bands sometimes do such as metallica..but pearl jam isnt going to dont know if they have elsewhere in the past

    they allways turn around and play a few for fans behind the stage.......
    most of the time in the encore.......seen it happen twice

    MSG will be gentle and use KY, just for you :lol:

    Ed and the band tend to turn aroudn as someone mentioned before.

    my favorite part was the floor shaking

    All 200 sections @ MSG have only 6 or 7 rows in them.
    The sound will be no problem
    ( youre going like it, alot )

    PJs use of a pretty much open stage ( I dont think they use the typewriter banner when there is rear seating )
    You are going to love losing your MSG cherry.

    I've been behind the stage before (not at MSG) and I've always thought that not only is the band's sound fine....but you could hear (and feel) the crowd singing at you crystal clear. It makes for an interesting dynamic. Not the best first way to see PJ (or any band) but if you've seen them before, you'll probably find being behind the stage to be interesting....so long as it doesn't' happen all the time!

    I'm on the side of the stage for MSG this year but sort of behind too. Section 118 which would put me between Stone and Boom I think. Even if it's not a straight-on view of the band. I'd rather be there than where my fanclub tix land me at MSG: on the floor but WAAAAAAAAY back making it hard to see over taller people. I'd rather be elevated a bit.
