Please Bring Back The Sport Themed Tour Shirts In May

I should have bought one in Chicago, but choose the red shirt with the Asian font writing.

Anyway, as a huge Colts fan I would love to be able to get a PJ/Colts hybrid shirt that were sold at the shows in 2009. I would imagine that Indy fans would snatch that up. There could be Royals or Chiefs in KC, Rams or Cards in St. Louis, I'd guess Cavs for Cleveland, NY has many options. Buffalo has the Bills, Boston has the Sox or Celtics.

Those were cool. The fans love them and they would generate revenue once again.

Go for it...

I would pay any amount of money for a pearl jam Hartford Whalers shirt. This is the main reason I'm still thinking about attending the show even if I have to go alone.

Big time +1. Been a Cards fan my whole life (just got back from Spring Training monday, pennant is in sight!) and would love to see this at the merch booth May 4. Wilco had a Cards-style shirt for their shows in 08 and I wear it all the time.

A Patriotic Red White and Blue NY Ranger crest
substituted with " Pearl Jam 2010 " would be fantastical

I agree, I think all hockey teams would be great for this years tour! Although, I would like to see a PJ Celtics shirt.

hockey would include the sabres, bruins, WHALERS, rangers, blues, blue jackets

I want a Browns one or a Cavs

I wonder what they would do for Columbus. The right thing to do would be Ohio State...but I wonder if they would do a college. I would pass on a Blue Jackets one

That would work, but I wouldn't be suprised because they did the old style for the Utah show and they did the supersonics, which technically is old too, and Vancover

and how about making more than a total of ten shirts in each size? Iam sure that if there are any left over that these things will more than sell out on the goods page.

I think I remember a week or so ago Kat saying they weren't planning on the sport theme this year. Hope she's wrong, but it doesn't look too promising. Stranger things have happened.

Well supply and demand usually work. If there is enough demand for these shirts from the people actually going to the shows then maybe the band will use them again. They were just so cool last time. They weren't even any of my teams and I just loved looking at the design and guessing which team they would have at the shows.
  • I would love to display a St. Louis Cardinals Pearl Jam shirt right next to my Chicago Cubs Pearl Jam shirt!

    Oh, the irony. . .

They did it in Melbourne last year, only problem being these 10 teams based in Melbourne in Australian Rules and they had to choose the worse team, Collingwood. To explain what Collingwood is like for those outside of Australia, picture a stadium with toothless supporters who'd rate Nickleback or Creed.

Lucky my niece or Grandfather aren't on this board

So, if your going to a show... pick the team you would like to see on the shirt.

I've already mentioned the Colts, but IU would be cool too.

the NBA, NHL, and MLB don't look too favorably on potential trademark infringements. hence, don't expect the band to sell these shirts again after they were presented with a cease & desist order during the last tour.
