The only place Stub Hub is NOT selling them. Has to be the 10c seats.

I have a pretty high number because I let my membership lapse prior to 2008. I lost a lot of seniority. I have MSG 2 tickets, but I notice some pretty high up seats on the map not being sold by stub hub. How high up do 10c seats usually go?

Omigod $9,200 for section 309? Who are they kidding? That's beyond raping.

To The West Wing Fan: From your experience, how likely are those 300 and 400 seats to be 10c seats? Even with a high number, can I expect to be in the first couple levels?
  • I don't know about this time, but when I went to MSG in 2003-my first year in the 10c, I was in the 300s. But it doesn't look like there are as many 10c seats as there were back then. Unless I was one of very few people who sat that far up.

hahah glad somebody caught that :D

honestly, i don't know...i've never been to a show at msg and don't really know how 10c distribute tix...but i'd guess that a high member number will put you in the higher bowl, possibly the very back of the floor

I had 10C tix in 2003 (with a higher number) and ended up in section 38. Not bad at all.

In 2008 for night 1 I was with my friend who has 400xxx or so. We were on the back of the floor, where there is a slight riser. It was a great view, and I'm 5'8".

In 2008 for night 2 we used my 125xxx tickets and we were about 16th row floor.
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

as per that stub hub map- the best side stage seats- from like section 60 to 50 and 73 to 83 are probably not going to be 10c seats. they can be, but only if season subscribers opt to not purchase them for these shows. most people buy them to either go, or resell them online.

What happens if you are a season ticket holder for the Knicks, but not the Rangers and the Liberty or any combination? Who gets the tickets then?

I also got seats on those sections on both sides through 10c before.

Season ticketholders for a sporting team don't get the same seat that they get for the games that they do for concerts. If that were the case who wins out, the knicks fan or the rangers fan?

  • A PSL is something they offer in football. Personal Seat Liscense. These allow you the opportunity to have your specific seats for any event taking place. They are very expensive and you have to renew them every year. Just having season tickets doesn't guarantee the same seats you have but they often have season ticket holder presales for events.

i know how this works, my company used to have the same 4 seats for every single concert event at msg. they actually had season tickets to sports games as well, but had the right to buy the same 4 seats for concerts. a lot of the seats on the very side stage are kept for vips and celebs and sometimes are released day or 2 before. but most people have the right to buy yhose best side stage seats first. if they do not purchase them, then they go back on sale at a random time.

73 is right on the border of being a great seat. for a band like pj that sells out the house, its a great seat, but for many shows, the stage is actually moved up and those seats would be a little too side stage (for some). i actually saw motley crue in section 73. it wasnt very good you couldnt see bc you were exactly to the side and the speaker was right in front of us.

I was thinking the same thing -- i got shut out of the 10c sale and TM sale, so i had to go to stubhub. I got lucky and got a good single in sect 79 for a decent price for night 2 (also got one in 108 for night 1)- but I havent seen much between section 49 to 60 or 85 to 74. And some of the prices are ridiculous. Maybe things will open up at some point in the next month or so, but i wasnt willing to take a chance.

I hope 10c people are getting those good loge seats. For MSG1 in 2008, i had section 45, which wasnt bad (my number is 37xxxx)

it was a great seat so close to the band
    but the sound sucked

anyway, where do I sign up for the concert season tickets? That way I get great seats to the shows I want and I can flip the maddona, jay-z and britney tix to pay for it all.
