We're staying at the Comfort Inn outside of Hartford (Vernon), and the Comfort Inn in Dorchester, MA (close to Boston). Just curious if anyone else was staying at these locations?

Dorchester, really. There is a reason why it is cheap (I'm assuming it is cheap). Find something closer and safer. I'm from that area in CT and the Vernon one is fine. I live in the Boston area and Dorchester, not so much. Warning, Warning, Will Robinson.... (yes, I'm dating myself with that comment).

Really...Dorchester's Comfort Inn isn't a place to stay?
Is this the one you're talking about? It's listed as Boston on choicehotels.com but on mapquest it's listed as in Dorchester:

I'm sure the hotel is fine, its just Dorchester has a bad reputation through Massachusetts as a pretty shady place, few murders, lots of gang violence.

Maybe for you but it must have for me :) I agree, do the go carts in Vernon. Exit 64 off of I-84.
