Still Seats for Jiffy Live???

I find it odd that there are still seats (not Lawn) left for the DC (Virginia) show.
It was a little weird that the 10C tickets didn't sell out. But for seats still left on TM....
Maybe the mid-week show? Maybe the bad location?

Not sure. But the less of a draw means better seats for me. :D

    I find it odd as well. But Nissan has the highest ratio of a-holes in the live music industry. This includes the Prince William police, which pretty much act like Nazis. I hate going there, but for Pearl Jam, you have to put up with the jackasses.

    Camden isn't better, except for traffic.

    I think PJ agreed to this venue thinking "it's almost DC", when in fact, it is not only not DC, it is the most eco-unfriendly and hard to access venue in the middle of nowhere. But it probably meant a bigger paycheck for them, since the venue is a LiveNation exclusive place.

    I think the annoying location makes it less likely for people to go to a show there on a weeknight. When you factor in potential beltway traffic it could take hours to get there from Baltimore (it took me 3 hours when I saw Radiohead there in a rainstorm).

    That's why the wife and I are taking the day off from work.
    Plus we may take 15 down from Frederick to avoid the beltway and 66.

    That will help you getting out of there. The one and only thing they do right is this: The earliest to arrive get into the parking lot closest to the entrance. And they let that parking lot out first. This can be a big deal. If you are late, and therefore in one of the outer parking lots, it can seriously take you 2-3 hours to leave. Probably don't need to say this, but bring plastic cups for whatever you are drinking. Beer bottles attract annoying attention.

    yeah...wife and I are also taking day off. we live in alexandria, va. it's about 40 mins south of bristow, but we are giving ourselves about 3 hrs to get up there. I recommend to anyone who is unfamiliar with the area to avoid(as much as possible) Interstate 66 west after 4 pm. it's a major clusterfuck!
