Which band would you like to see open for PJ?

You know Band of Horses are OK - The Black Keys a little better but come on? Band of Horses music is just depressing IMO. Black Keys are a little more upbeat but listening to 45 mins - 1 hr of it? All their songs sound the same.

I would love to see FU MANCHU opening up for PJ one of these tours. What about you?

  • I can't speak for Band of Horses, but the Black Keys are great live. I saw them this past summer and they're quite good. More of a live band than a studio band in my opinion.

I would like to see NO band open for Pearl Jam. I'd like to see PJ not be in any hurry, because of the CURFEW!!! Some shows, it feels like they have to play a 100 MPH's, just to give us ther FULL show. MAYBE WITHOUT a opening band, they would/could play an acoustic set.

I'd like to see Modest Mouse open for Pearl Jam, but don't expect that will ever happen. Too bad Sony/Epic never coerced them to tour together when both band were on their label. At least I saw them both in one day at Lolla '07, but I had to miss MMJ (whom I had seen nearly a dozen times before).
  • Biffy Clyro or Creature with the atom brain. Either of these would make my day. One for Belfast & the other fo Dublin would do. Won't be rushing in for ben harper or wolfmother.

Gogol Bordello . They are the one band other than Pearl Jam which bring me the kind of lung burn , muscle ache , voice shred that I crave at a show. A totally different type of music , which may not go over with some fans, but ...c'est la vie.
