Like I said, there were some good songs on the last album, but I prefer the garagey, dirty blues sound they had on their previous albums.
The STP song was just good for me, but I LOVED Tighten Up!

That's how I like my blues, which is one of the reasons I've always been so in love with Black Keys. I loved Attack and Release also though, as well as this new song. I think the music with Danger Mouse is still dirty...just not quite so disgustingly filthy. It's more like...they crawled out of the mud pit and let the mud dry before they recorded.

Personally, my favorite is their first album, which is the rawest of the raw, but I love the fact that they play the blues but don't feel constrained or place any limits on themselves (check out Blakroc for a great example). They are easily the most important band to emerge for me in the past decade. :-)
