Very cool groove to it. What's everyone think?

Excited for "brothers"

I like it! But I thought their decision to work with Danger Mouse on Attack & Release too, so the minute I saw the headline that they were still working with him I thought it would be good. I wish I could make to MSG, would love to see them and Band Of Horses as an opener.

Love The Black Keys. Can't wait for the new album.

While I thought "Attack and Release" was good, I prefer "Magic Potion" and "Rubber Factory", so I'm glad they've gotten away from Danger Mouse and the more electronic feel.

Like I said, there were some good songs on the last album, but I prefer the garagey, dirty blues sound they had on their previous albums.

Last night on 1019 RXP they debuted the new STP song and this Black Keys song.

The STP song was just good for me, but I LOVED Tighten Up!

Very excited to be seeing the Keys @ MSG!

    dirty blues sound

That's how I like my blues, which is one of the reasons I've always been so in love with Black Keys. I loved Attack and Release also though, as well as this new song. I think the music with Danger Mouse is still dirty...just not quite so disgustingly filthy. It's more like...they crawled out of the mud pit and let the mud dry before they recorded.

Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
    Butthead: Huh huh.

I love this new song. They are such a great band. I have been lucky enough to see the Black Keys 5 times already (Lollapalooza '07, twice at Terminal 5, McCarren Park Pool, and The Roots' Picnic last year), and saw Dan Auerbach when he toured his solo album with Hacienda, and each show was better than the last. I'm also excited about seeing them at the Garden in May and at Central Park Summerstage (the first night) in July.

Personally, my favorite is their first album, which is the rawest of the raw, but I love the fact that they play the blues but don't feel constrained or place any limits on themselves (check out Blakroc for a great example). They are easily the most important band to emerge for me in the past decade. :-)

The new song sounds GREAT...I freaking love the Black Keys and I can't wait for the new album...I'm very jealous of the MSG 2 people who get to see them with PJ.

Also, I love Frank the Funkasaurus. Just putting that out there.
