Vacationing in Seattle

Hey guys me and my wife are planning on doing a vacation to the pacific northwest!! really excited being from memphis!

Anyways, we are planning the trip around the weekend kings of leon is playing the gorge but we want to stay in seattle for the trip and we are flying there so no car. are there any options aside from taxi or renting a car that can shuttle us to quincy, wa Or wherever the gorge ampitheater is located?

there is a shuttle that will get you from seattle to ellensburg, wa, but ellensburg is still about 45 miles from the gorge. pm me if you want information about the shuttle.

From texas and went to the sasquatch music fest at the gorge last year. Saw kings of leon, nin, yeah yeah yeahs and janes addiction.

Let me tell you, the drive from seattle to the gorge is nearly 3 hours. We rented a car from seatle airport.

The gorge is not close to seattle. A taxi would run 2-300 dollars.

But, on the good side, its the nicest road trip ive ever taken. Went in may and drove through the mountains, some even had snow on them. And when your driving, you will pass a big bridge and a turn, youll know when you see it, there is a place like a rest stop. I stopped and i was he most amazing view ive ever seen. 20+ miles of mountain tops in a 360 degree... i could email you some pics if you want.
