How many seats are usually involved with the lottery?

I understand it's 4 different rows, but how many seats per row? Is it 20 seats per row, which means 80 seats in the lottery?

Yeah, that could be it... but since each 10C member has two tickets, that is about 40 people that get to win the lottery, for a total of 80 seats

    By the Numbers for MSG:

There are 38 seats in Row 1 and 2 so 76 seats there and there are 44 seats in Rows 9 and 10 which is 88 seats

    88+76=164 seats divided by 2

    82 pairs of lottery tickets.

It probably depends on the venue too, though.

Rows 1,2 and 9 and 10. There may not always be exactly 164 seats among these rows, but I'm sure it doesn't vary much between venues.

It's probably pretty standard for arena shows though. Amphitheatres may have a slightly different configuration from venue to venue.....

Either way, you are probably looking at no more than 100 pairs of tickets . . . .

Yeah, I know the Tweeter Center in Boston (okay, Mansfield) is almost exactly the same layout as the New England Dodge Music Center (or whatever they're calling it now) in Hartford, but the Hartford venue is considerably smaller. I imagine given the "slice of pie" layout they have Mansfield would have more seats in each row.

The numbers I gave are for MSG, not sure how many seats are in each row in Boston, but it will be in the same ballpark probably.

Does the 10club get the entire rows 1&2,9&10 or are some corporate/season ticket holder seats?

i believe the have the entire row. we were sitting in front of david crosby at one show! :)

also...good estimate is 40 seats across per row.
  • Anyone know how many 10C tickets total were sold for each of these recent shows?

Its been speculated that the fan club gets 10% of the seats in the venue.

So for MSG, which holds about 19,500 for an end stage show, it should be just under 2,000 tickets or 1,000 pairs.

Which I think works out to about an 8% chance of winning the lottery.
