This is a ridiculous statement. Metallica went back to being awesome with Death Magnetic and Pearl Jam has gone all cheesy pop/rock with Backspacer.

I do want Pearl Jam to be successful. I've very happy for Backspacer's success....but I think it's a horrible album and I don't listen to it. But I''m happy to see it went #1 and that Just Breathe has had some success as well.

So sick of reading these pity stories about people not getting tickets. It's called traveling, there are these things called cars. Most pj fans travel. For instance I flew to Virginia two years ago from Ohio. There were people from Columbia there! That made my travel look easy.
It's part of the deal, not everybody can get tickets, and these huge markets such as NYC and Boston, it's friggin expected.

Billy Joel sold out about 30 nights at the Garden. You have to understand just how many people live within 100 miles of NYC. It is like 20 million. 1 in 15 people in the entire USA live near NYC. That is HUGE demand.

nah, they did mostly 10c show in philly after the atlantic city borgata fiasco...not the band. theres only so much they can do. wtf u want them to change this country they cant, this doesnt happen in other countries, only the best one ever that you live in!
Just when I think I'm becoming too obsessed with this band and I start to wonder if it's getting out of control, I see a post like this and it just makes me feel so much better about myself.
It's the bands fault for being so scarce. Metallica is still on tour and will be/has been for a year+...

I have a great formula for a career if anyone wants to start a band.
1. lets become really popular
2. Lets then stop touring because we hate fame/cant get involved with the machine that is big business.
3. this will in turn make us incredibly rare of an act to see live for a number of years, fanning the flames of popularity even further
4. we will quietly succumb to the machine and have the gall to charge our fans 90 dollars a ticket.
5. we will do the same thing for merchendise ie posters... make them so rare and coveted that only a select few can buy/re-sell forcing the rest of us to have to pay a fortune/ not get one at all..
6. finally we can start doing whatever we want no matter how greedy and HYPOCRITICAL it is..

I have no problem with getting no tix but dont be fooled they are the reason this is happening
