i understand some people feel entitled and will not stand for anything less then a certain standard....

but come on! it is Madison Square Garden! just be grateful to be in the beautiful historic and magical building!

the place isnt that Big, which means really any seat is going to be good.

but then again we have those who arent happy unless they can get sweat on by ed and spit on jeff

definitely true. Unless you are in the first sections, on the floor, you have no view of the stage. I am short so I don't get floor seats unless I know its row 10 or less.
MSG is always a great venue and PJ puts on great shows there. I would pay to watch them from the rafters, so I ain't complaining. :D

If you want to feel the energy of the crowd, the music etc, 300's suck. That's like saying "I hope I get lawn seats". I had section 313 row 7 for the Big East Tournament and the were border line bleeds. 300's are no good in the garden.

I've sat in the 300s before- really not bad.

I wouldn't worry- if you have tix, consider yourself lucky!

    you sound very spoiled
comparing the Big East tournament to a rock concert is your first mistake.

i've been a fan for the better part of my life, have been in the fan club since '03, and have never been remotely close to the front. however, i've always enjoyed where i sat, always had a good time, and always rocked my ass off.

i feel sorry for the people who feel like they have to be in the front, and especially the people who bitch about having seen 50 shows and now they have to sit in the 300s. really? you've been lucky enough to see pearl jam 50 times, all within the first 20 rows, and you have the nerve to complain that someone else now gets that opportunity?

    spoiled, elitist, whiny little brats.

to my fellow (grateful) 10 clubbers in the 300s...i look forward to rocking out with you in may!
keep on rockin' in the free world.

I agree with a lot of people on here. I sat in the 300s at MSG 1 in 08 and may have had a better time than the night after sitting 5 rows from the stage on Mike's side...why? Because the fans where I sat were rockin out and glad to be there and the people up close the next night were constantly bitchin about how they heard that song the night before...as if the band promised they would not repeat any songs in the 2 night run. A shame really.

This year, I am taking my fortunate ass and sitting in section 310. Couldn't be happier to be in the building for my seventh (and eighth the next night) Pearl Jam show in that building. Have never been disappointed with any of those shows.

I will say that the one 400 section furthest from the stage is basically worthless. I sat there at MSG 1 in 1998 and could barely hear anything.

Spoiled? Hardly. I'm just saying, if you're going to spend the money why settle for less? I guess everyone on here who investigates member numbers before getting an extra ticket is spoiled too right? That's like saying "I hope I get seats are in the upper level because there are just as good". C'mon . I did see the seating chart. Those pics are taken from the first row of the section......I guess it boils down to people's preferences.

I agree 1000%. And hopefully a lot of us will be together to rock the 300's like we usually do the floor :)

I'll be rocking section 334. Anyone else with me?

I was referring to Section 428. That did not work out so well.

300's have always been good to me. I have even had a great time in the other 400-level sections when I saw Eric Clapton, Page & Plant, and REM at the Garden over the years.
