I'm a member of the ten club since I'm posting here. Ticketmaster says the presale started 26 minutes ago. It says I needed a code. I came here. It says tickets on sale now for MSG. I clicked on it. It brought me back to ticketmaster, which again said I needed a code. I don't get it.

  • Dude, the same thing happened to me!!!! What are we missing?
  • I'd actually like to complain a lot more since I'm on here at the moment. I heard about the NYC tour so I joined the club. I checked back to the site regularly. It said there was a presale on the 16th. Lower it said there was a presale for ten club member on the 15th. Lower it said you must be a member by the 10th to take advantage of the presale. I joined on the 12th. Oops. I checked back frequently regardless. After 5-10 mins each time I got to the tickets page where the May 20th show kept showing up. I clicked on it and it kept saying tickets temporary unavailable. I kept trying and kept getting the same results. Later I heard that the 21st presale was up. So I tried that. Over and over. I kept getting the same result. Eventually the 20th said sold out, followed by the 21st. And now here I am trying to get tickets on ticketmaster and it won't even let me do that because I don't know the code. Is this all because I joined the club 2 days later than allowed? I figure if that's the case I wouldn't even be able to access the 20th and 21st shows at all. So for 20 bucks I'm getting a record( I don't have a record player), a christmas single and a lot of time wasted and no tickets to show for it. Thanks Pearl Jam.
  • it was in a 10C email on weds

Every tour (at least recently), the presale is limited to people who were members before the tour was announced. This is the band's way of rewarding the people who stay in the club even when the band's not on tour. This message board usually has an announcement from a little birdie a few days before the tour announcement, telling people to check that their membership is up to date.

The TM presale was done by a password sent to current 10C members - not sure if they were planning to enforce the pre-announcement membership requirement.

Sorry to say, you guys who just joined and are only looking for better seats are the people this policy is disfavoring. But it's fun being in 10C and supporting the band, so stick around till next tour and you'll get to join the pre-sale pain with the rest of us.

Actually, if you signed up after you heard about the tour, you're probably not eligible to the presale codes. From my experience as a 10c member the past few years, the tour announcements get to 10c members first and the email typically states that you need to be a member as of a few days before the email announcement to be eligible for presales. It's nothing personal against new members, it's just there are many existing members that don't even get a sniff at the tickets and if people were able to sign up everytime a tour came up just to take advantage of the presale then lapse their memberships until the next tour, that wouldn't be fair to everyone else.

Just my take on it anyway. Good news is now that you're a member, just stay current and you will have access to the next tour presale!

Ten Club is offering pre-sale tickets to active members only. You must be a currently active member as of March 10th to qualify for the pre-sale.

You will be eligible for tours that are announced during your memberships. Tours announced prior to your memberships, not so much.

i call um how i see um, a bunch of people who joined after the tour is announced trying to get a password that was distributed to members yesterday is suspicious to me, hopefully im wrong about you, but a 20 hit to a scalper isnt that bad compared to what theyll make

So when you signed up you knew you weren't going to be able to buy tickets for the MSG shows through the 10club presale earlier in the week, but you still decided to try and get tickets? All you did was clog up the server for those who were active members? Some people were refreshing the ticket page for 6+ hours and still never got tickets.

Don't feel so entitled. There are members on this forum that have supported the band for 10-15 and also are ticketless. Try again tomorrow.

Actually, they do. Tickets for certain artists are almost always sold out and therefore very much in demand. $20 is nothing and $173 for 2 tickets is nothing when you can resell them for three times face value. Easily $300 profit on each pair and multiply that by the tens of tickets they score. Good profit to be had for the initial fan club fee!
